Canada Time Now

There are six main Canadian time zones:

  • Pacific Time (PT) – UTC — 8 (or UTC — 7 in the course of Daylight Saving Time)
  • Mountain Standard Time (MST) — UTC − 7 (UTC − 6, during summer time)
  • Central Time (CT) — (UTC − 6)(UTC − 5 during daylight saving time)
  • UTC -5 (or UTC -4, when Daylight Saving Time) Eastern Time (ET)
  • Atlantic Time (AT) — UTC −4 (or UTC −3 in Daylight Saving Time)
  • (UTC −3:30) (UTC −2:30 during Daylight Saving Time) Newfoundland Time (NT)
  • The change to Daylight Saving Time in Canada

Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts in March and ends in November for the majority of Canada, moving the summer clocks ahead by one hour. However, none of the regions are not any one who participates in DST. Most notably, much of Saskatchewan does not switch to Daylight Saving Time, leaving the province on Central Standard Time throughout the year.
